location sound recording

Over many years Colin has built up considerable knowledge of location sound recording for film and television. Contracted as a Sound Recordist to Mentorn Films in London in 1991 & 1992 and as a Freelance in Scotland since then, he has gained a wide experience of both corporate and broadcast sound recording. He is also familiar with “live to air” television as a frequent soundman for GMTV.

He is also experienced in the location recording of music and has recorded a wide variety of events from soloists and small combos to full orchestra and chorus – and covered various genres inc. folk, rock, jazz and classical.

All location recordings can be edited and mixed in his studio (see studio page)
